I had the opportunity to work and art direct Marvel Hail Hydra board game package and brand identity with the help of McCown design agency and HRO design.

The package art direction was rooted in historical WWII propaganda posters that we then made into our own unique brand identity. This new brand needed to immediately make an impact with the audience, yet carry Marvel's brand elements that are familiar to all Marvel fans around the world. The brand needed to be engaged to the target audience as well as differentiate itself from many existing Marvel products that are already in the market. For this reason, we decided not to use any "typical" comic book style, and explored a unique propaganda  and animated art style for the package and game components art direction.

 The game officially launched in September 2018 to a very warm reception!
